RJ Palacio's new book, "365 Days of Wonder," is an inspirational and thought-provoking book of precepts for every day of the year. It reminds me of those daily devotional books my mom had when I was younger.
Last night, this eloquent author spoke to a full house in Madison, CT about her life as a writer. When asked when she knew she wanted to be a writer, she responded that she had ALWAYS been a writer. However, when she was in college, she made the decision to become a graphic art designer and editor which still allowed her to be a field that dealt with books. She shared that she wrote everyday, but she liked to keep the writing for herself.
Wonder was her first book, and she never imagined what a success it would be!
